Boscastle Play School in North Cornwall is a not-for-profit registered charity which has been providing childcare for over 40 years. We promote learning through play in an exciting, creative and fun environment.
The facilities are second to none, with a recently refurbished building equipped for children to learn through ‘Free Flow’ play. The outside area consists of a well established wood and stream where children have supervised access and can be at one with nature. There is a productive garden (created with the Eden Project) with raised beds to plant, grow and eat their own food, play houses, sand pit and various ride-ons along with our guinea pigs and chickens which the children help to care for. In addition there is a large outside undercover area. Inside is a large open planned area for the children to play, cook, create, relax and eat. Puzzles, reading, painting, dressing up, woodwork and cooking are all part of a normal term. We also like to get out and about, both in the local community and further afield.
